Hi Reader,

Simply put—Rachel Carson changed the way we see the world. She was a scientist, writer, and environmentalist who helped people understand that protecting nature protects us all. Her work led to real change, inspiring generations to care for our planet. So, how can we introduce kids to her legacy in a fun and engaging way during Women’s History Month?

​I’ve rounded up some fantastic children’s picture books that bring her story to life! 📚✨ These books are perfect for sparking curiosity about nature, science, and the power of writing.

To take learning a step further, I’ve also created a free, downloadable writing prompts workbook to encourage young writers in grades 3-8 to think like Carson. Whether at home or in the classroom, these prompts help children reflect on the natural world and their role in protecting it. 🌎✍️
